Aroma: Strawberry shortcake, crème Brulee

Flavor: Strawberry, red fruit, a little bit of grippy-ness from the tannins
Following the same recipe that won Best in Show in 2019, we have been able to perfect this style of wine. This wine just screams summertime as it smells just like a strawberry patch. The grapes for this were picked earlier than the Pinot Noir grapes used for our barrel program due to the grapes not needing to be as ripe when making a rose. The grapes were crushed and destemmed into stainless steel bins where they cold soaked for 12 hours on the skins to give it a Barbie Pink tint. After those 12 hours the juice was taken off the skins and placed in a stainless tank for fermentation.
